What do the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals have to do with Anact?

Good question!

Here at Anact, we prioritize sustainability and eco-friendly business practices that are designed to support important efforts such as poverty reduction, clean water, economic development and responsible consumption.

We were inspired by the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals because they cover social and environmental initiatives and are quantitatively driven. The 17 UN development goals include:

  1. No Poverty

  2. Zero Hunger

  3. Good Health And Well-Being

  4. Quality Education

  5. Gender Equality

  6. Clean Water and sanitation

  7. Affordable and Clean Energy

  8. Decent Work and Economic Growth

  9. Industry, Innovation And Infrastructure

  10. Reduced Inequalities

  11. Sustainable Cities and Communities

  12. Responsible Consumption and Production

  13. Climate Action

  14. Life Below Water

  15. Life On Land

  16. Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions

  17. Partnerships For The Goals

Because we use a proprietary blend of hemp and organic cotton - we are able to create sustainable and durable towels which reduce the overall consumption of water during the process. Instead of having to buy bath towels every few years - customers are able to purchase a set of bath towels that will stay soft for years.

We also pride ourselves in our production process - we partner with manufacturers who prioritize sustainability in their facilities. We value the importance of ethically sourcing and manufacturing products first and foremost at Anact.
