We Believe in Simple Acts

Anact stands for an act of kindness and an act of goodwill. Our simple act is this company, are you interested in joining us?

Anact’s act is activism within the textile industry.

Our mission is to create the cleanest bath towels on the planet using natural plant fibers and dyes that are the best performing on the market. We envision close-looped, carbon neutral manufacturing, while creating equitable jobs for all. We inspire people to take simple acts to create the world they want to see based on the action we take every day at Anact.

About this role

As the Brand Assistant you will support the ideation, execution, and growth of Anact’s brand and mission. Your work will directly inform our marketing strategy and require cross-functional coordination across our team, vendors, and key stakeholders. This role will work closely with Anact’s Founder and CEO to manage campaigns, monitor and track performance, reporting on progress, and ensure budgeting targets and requirements are met.

Ultimately this role will be critical in continuing to develop Anact’s brand identity, encourage others to make a difference through simple acts, and protect the brand’s reputation.

If you worked here this past month, here are some things you might have been involved in:

  • Supported the team by coordinating brand presentations and events
  • Conducted a market/brand analysis including category sales and competitive product trends/opportunities to inform future strategy and product
  • Supported the brand team in development of budget, success outcomes, and strategy for activation events such as SX activation
  • Forecasted, tracked, and reported brand results and statistics
  • Utilized the above measurement and data to support informed and data-driven decision making with regards to upcoming campaigns
  • Identified new branding and marketing opportunities, and performed the initial analysis and ROI estimation before proposing as an opportunity to the broader team

About you

Analytical
You are comfortable making and recommending decisions based on your analysis. You live for good A/B testing. You recognize that while there is always an element of creativity and magic in branding and marketing, execution and successful campaigns are based on data and proven formulas.

Deadline Driven
You complete your work on the timeline that has been agreed to with your team members, partners, or other stakeholders. You recognize the critical role that timing plays in campaigns and execution and ensure that Anact is capitalizing and maximizing those opportunities. In the event that a project is getting off-course, or a timeline needs to be adjusted, you raise this quickly and work collaboratively to minimize lateness.

Collaborative
You excel at working cross-functionally and with a diverse set of people. You are thoughtful and deliberative in your communications and approach collaboration with curiosity and excitement to learn from those who you work with. You are fulfilled not just by doing a job well, but by bringing fun and joy to the work you do with others.

Solutions Oriented
You are a creative high performer and innovative in your approach to all decisions, opportunities, and problems. You never take a first offer. Being told no means you are negotiating well (or not speaking to the right person). When presented with a choice you explore every angle and ensure you have exhausted all options before making a final decision. You work hard to grow Anact and therefore  are conscientious with your resources. Your decision making is strategic.

Why should you work with us?

Anact is in an exciting phase of growth. The team we are building at this phase of our company will build the foundation, culture, and direction for years to come.

We believe that inspiring others to make a difference through their own actions should be rewarded accordingly, which is why we offer market informed salaries and benefits.

Compensation

This role will begin as a contracted position, paid at a rate of $25.00/hour for up to 10 hours per week. Opportunity for this to become a full time role with benefits will be reviewed after 90 days.
